Trying out some of the wellbeing / beauty bits I received for Christmas and booking myself in for a massage to beat the January blues.

My favourite January pamper is keeping it simple, a slow evening, a warm drink, a bubble bath, and permission to do absolutely nothing except cuddle up with my dog. After the rush of December, that quiet pause feels like the most luxurious treat of all.

My January pampers involve lots of vitamin C, full body scrubs/exfoliating. Hands, nails and feet get special attention. It’s all about reviving my skin because I hate winter! I like to prep myself for Spring/Summer time asap! Decluttering isn’t pampering but I like to do it as part of pampering as it clears the house and my mind so I have more time for meeee :)

Difficult to find time to pamper myself as my teenage son has severe learning difficulties, after the hype of Christmas January can be a difficult come down for him. To stay sane(ish) I try to find a spare 10 minutes in the garden under the gazebo with a cuppa, don’t care if it’s raining/windy/freezing it’s just good to partially reset at least!
